Mindfulness meditation is a popular form of meditation that can help you cope with stress and other emotional health issues. It can be combined with clinical care and help you keep a healthy lifestyle and stay mentally fit. Meditation can help you learn to better control your emotions. It can also help you become more aware and accepting of negative thoughts. You learn not to be judgmental about your thoughts and instead think of those thoughts and feelings as momentary impulses that will pass.

We are living in stressful times. Some stressors we can anticipate and others take us by surprise. Because we may not be able to avoid stress, it’s important to have strategies for managing it. Building your resilience can help you manage on a day-to-day basis. Resilience is the ability to adapt well to difficulty, change, or other sources of stress. Being resilient doesn’t mean that you will not feel stress or anxiety. It does make it more likely that you’ll be able to manage that stress and feelings of anxiety or uncertainty.
Stress is your body’s reaction to an event that stimulates you. When you encounter such an event, adrenaline, a stimulant hormone, is released into your bloodstream. Adrenaline, along with other stress hormones, produces a number of changes in the body, which are intended to be protective. While mild to moderate stress can help improve your overall performance, too much can compromise your quality of life. The challenge is to keep yourself at a level of stress that is healthy and enjoyable. This guide provides general information on the causes of stress and techniques to successfully manage it.
It can be hard to prioritize self-care in challenging times, but this is exactly when it’s needed most. This checklist can remind you to take time for moves that can help you be more stress-resistant.
How and why mindfulness can be useful in your everyday life, especially with all the chaos in the world. This webinar gives an overview of each type of mindfulness technique: square breathing, progressive relaxation, and guided meditation.
While pets and humans can have similarities, we are drastically different species. These differences in how we approach the world can result in stressing pet parents out, but more commonly, it really affects the pet. Here are the seven biggest reasons pets get stressed out, and how to avoid them.

As things start to pile up around you, the clutter in your life can cause unnecessary stress and strife. But what if you could remove the clutter by implementing one easy habit? It’s a simple strategy with the goal of leaving no trace—doing something with complete presence, and then moving on to the next thing without holding on to previous activities. Doing each and every activity with a simple, clear mind.
