Give Disney a heads up.

Update your contact information in D Tools HR so you don’t miss any important details we need to share with you.

If you receive mail order prescriptions, make sure the pharmacy has your new address.

The last thing you want is for your medication to end up somewhere else. Contact your prescription drug carrier to give them the right address.

You may be eligible for a different medical plan.

The medical plans available to you vary by location. If you become eligible for a new plan option, or if the plan you currently have is unavailable at your new address, it counts as a qualified life event. You’ll receive a letter if you’re eligible to change plans. Contact the Disney Benefits Center at 1-800-354-3970 for more information.

So many boxes. Moving to a new home is stressful!

Give yourself a break and take advantage of the mindfulness resources available to you.

Individual or couples counseling can ease the pressure.

Whether you’re moving internationally, to a new state, or across the street, moving is a time of transition. Let the Cigna Employee Assistance Program (EAP) lend an ear. You have up to 10 free counseling sessions with a licensed professional. Schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-952-6676 or visiting the Cigna EAP website for Disney employees and Cast Members.

You may need some legal assistance.

If you bought a new home, you’ll want assistance reviewing things like mortgage documents and property tax assessments. Eligible employees and Cast Members can enroll in the Disney legal plan through MetLife Legal. The legal plan grants you access to network attorneys, often at no additional cost. Care.com can help you find an attorney in your community. For assistance, call Care.com at 1-866-574-7229 or visit their website for Disney employees and Cast Members.

This is going to cost money.

Whether you’re hiring movers or doing it yourself, you’ll still have some significant financial considerations. A security deposit? A first mortgage? A bigger mortgage than last time?
